To provide a full set of information by carrying out series studies that will strengthen producers for determining supply, demand, and opportunities for market diversification, considering every actor in the organic value chain. The studies will assist in mapping the organic value chains and markets.
The specific objectives for lot 1
Market dynamics and market potential estimation of vegetables & fruits that are (or could be) grown in Tanzania: Tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, onions, eggplant, banana, pineapples, mangoes; focus on CONVENTIONAL + compare with ORGANIC.
The specific objectives for lot 3
Distribution channel; focus on ORGANIC + compare with CONVENTIONAL Trade chain; focus on selected organic vegetables & fruit with a high market potential Market Insights; focus on organic.

Services Provided:
● Conducted a SWOT analysis and investigated the market dynamics and market potential
estimation of vegetables & fruits that are (or could be) grown in Tanzania with focus on
Tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, onions, eggplant, banana, pineapples, mangoes and
comparative analyses of conventional with organic products systems.
● Studied and developed improvement opportunities for the agri-business distribution channels
of the fruits and vegetables including comparative analysis of organic and conventional
products systems.
● Provided a full set of information by carrying out a series of studies that will strengthen
