Objectives of the project
The purposes of the TA contract are to support the strengthening of analytical and institutional capability of Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) in its advisory role to both the national and county governments.
Services Provided:
• Component 1 – improved institutional capacity of the Commission on Revenue Allocation to support county level revenue generation;
Conducting a study on revenue potential of the counties addressing gaps in other studies
Assist CRA in developing advisory capability on county revenue generation Liaise with other agencies working on county revenues such as the World Bank
• Component 2 – improve CRA databases to inform revenue allocation recommendation
Assist CRA to develop and maintain databases related to county data
Assist CRA to design and develop an interactive web based database for the use of the counties
To provide on the job training to CRA staff on analysis of county data
To have a detailed costing of continuation and maintenance of CRA database
